Professional Drummer
Based in Newark, Nottinghamshire, John Joe Gaskin is a dedicated and highly experienced full-time professional musician and educator. Subsequent to achieving A-Levels in Music Industry Studies and a Higher Diploma in Contemporary Music Performance, John Joe graduated from The Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford in 2010 with a 2:1 BMus (hons) Degree.

Remote and Studio
John Joe Gaskin has lots of recording experience in many different styles of music. Available to record drum set for you, whether at a studio of your choice or remotely from his studio based in Newark, he has acquired an extensive collection of drums, cymbals, percussion and microphones to ensure the right sound for your project.
Remote recordings have the option for drum stems to be sent either mixed or unmixed.

TEACHING
In person and Skype
Having taught full time since 2010, John Joe Gaskin teaches all levels and abilities, from complete beginner to professional, both privately and in schools in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire.
John Joe Gaskin’s incredibly passionate yet relatable teaching style has helped secure a 100% pass rate with grade exams and he owns a library of over 250 drum books, as well as countless scores and self-written exercises covering all styles and abilities.
Lessons are available both in person at his studio based near Newark, Nottinghamshire and online via Skype.
